Από την εισαγωγή του το 2004, ο ενισχυτής S-400 Stereo Reference της VTL έχει εκτιμηθεί από τους λάτρεις της μουσικής σε όλο τον κόσμο ως ενισχυτής λυχνίας υψηλής απόδοσης, φημισμένος για την ευκολία χρήσης και την εκλεπτυσμένη, φυσική απεικόνιση της μουσικής. Η νέα έκδοση Series S-400 της σειράς II χρησιμοποιεί το ίδιο κύκλωμα με τον μεγαλύτερο αδερφό της, τον ενισχυτή monoblock αναφοράς Siegfried Series II, σε ένα εντυπωσιακό σχεδιασμό ενιαίου πλαισίου. Η συμπερίληψη των τελευταίων τεχνολογικών προόδων της VTL φέρνει τη φημισμένη ηχητική απόδοση του S-400 σε ακόμη υψηλότερα ύψη.
