Class D amplifier

The CA80's efficient and powerful Class D amplification stage is based on an ICEPower 100AS2 module. In addition to high efficiency, this module delivers power ratings of 2x100W at 4 Ohm or 2x50W at 8 Ohm. What's more, it ensures impeccable sound quality, with precise, dynamic reproduction.

ES9219MQ DAC

The CA80's digital-to-analog conversion section uses an ESS Sabre ES9219MQ DAC for first-rate decoding. This configuration offers both clarity and power for an optimal musical experience. This chip also supports high sampling rates, up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256. What's more, it is capable of decoding MQA streams, guaranteeing sound quality as close as possible to studio recording.

 CD player & USB input

The front panel of the CA80 features a Philips CD player, using Sanyo HD860 laser technology to ensure optimum playback of your audio CDs. Playback quality is enhanced by the integration of an Ingenic X1000 microprocessor, providing the player with significant data processing power.

The CA80 also features a USB input. This allows playback of high-resolution audio files up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256.

Bluetooth 5.0

With its Bluetooth 5.0 module, the Shanling CA80 is able to receive audio streams wirelessly, from a smartphone or tablet for example, for practical and intuitive use. It also supports the high-resolution LDAC audio codec, ensuring high-quality wireless transmission and playback.

Comprehensive connectivity

The versatile Shanling CA80 features an additional RCA input, transforming it into a true integrated amplifier. This means you can connect a wide range of sources. In addition, the device offers several output modes, from Optical Toslink to RCA pre-out. The front panel of the CA80 even features an amplified 3.5mm jack output for headphone listening.

Eddict Player app

The amplifier can be controlled remotely via its remote control or the free Eddict Player mobile app, available for both Android and iOS. In addition to managing playback, the latter offers access to the device's various functions.
