iFi was born in 2012 with one goal in mind: to produce 'ultra-fidelity' audio products that push the sonic envelope whilst still priced within the mainstream.

iFi audio is under our parent company, AMR, Abbingdon Music Research, which designs and produces top-end luxurious audio products. AMR saw in 2010 that customer demand for wireless and portable headphones was expanding as the whole audio dynamic was changing. Thus, iFi was launched.

iFi offers small but prodigious personal audio products thanks to the superior knowledge of AMR’s technology. Today, we are proud of our British (and international) roots. We continue to design and produce over 35 different products. We are headquartered in Southport, UK with distribution including retailers such as B&H and etailz with production overseas.

We source parts from around the world from manufacturers including AMOS (UK), GE Valves (USA), WIMA (Germany) and TDK (Japan).

iFi DC iPurifier2

When listening to music on your home system, it should sound perfect but chances are that it doesn’t, and that’s due to hiss and distortion created by the power supply connected to your electronic device. The DC iPurifier2 connects between the two, strips away noise and restores your music into clear sound. Pluging into Purity, the DC iPurifier2 handles 5 volts right through to 24 volts, and comes in the following adapter sizes: 5.5×2.1mm, 5.5×2.5mm, 3.5×1.35mm. Thus making it compatible with most power supplies, such as a computer, active speakers, DACs and you can listen through your earphones and headphones. The DC iPurifier2 has taken a step into the future with: Active Noise Cancellation 2 – To enhance noise reduction and bring recordings to the fore, and Panasonic SP-Cap Polymer Capacitors – To minimise further noise and keep the temperature of your device stable. There's Copper-alloy shielding – To block EMI and RFI noise. A quest for quiet, the DC iPurifier2 leaves no stone unturned in its quest to reduce noise, buzz and jitter from your music. 50DB to 100DB noise floor drop

One small device, many, many applications - noise reduction for 5v -24v SMPS.

Just add between the SMPS and the device, for example, a router, DAC, set-top box, media streamer, laptop or desk mixer.

Noise will be reduced by a factor of 316x to 100,000x.

Ultra-wide band design

Effective from 1Hz all the way up to 5GHz.

Crucially the strongest performance is in the audible range of 20Hz to 20KHz.

Active noise cancellation

By generating a signal identical to the noise signal but in the exact opposite phase, our Active Noise Cancellation2 (ANC2) actively cancels all incoming noise.

Reverse polarity warning

The red protection LED will be lit if the input polarity is reversed. If using the wrong polarity you can get interference, affecting your music.
