Το σώμα του πικάπ κατασκευάζεται προσεκτικά από ίνες ξύλου μέσης πυκνότητας (ή, προαιρετικά, από συμπαγές ξύλο υπό πίεση) με μια επιλογή από όμορφα επιφανειακά φινιρίσματα. Το ανώτερο στρώμα του σώματος ενσωματώνει μια ειδική πλαστική σύνθεση υψηλής τεχνολογίας σχεδιασμένη να ελαχιστοποιεί τον ανεπιθύμητο συντονισμό.
